# Security & Safety

Zeal Wallet makes user safety, security, and privacy a priority. It does this by including wallet features such as a Built-in VPN, which prevents RPC nodes from tracking your personal data, providing Safety Checks during [transactions](/security-and-safety/transaction-safety-checks.md) and website [connections](/security-and-safety/connection-safety-checks.md), and allowing users to [preview](/security-and-safety/transaction-previews.md) their transactions before pressing submit.

In addition to these built-in features, Zeal Wallet’s browser extension makes it easy to link your hardware wallets (currently supporting Ledger and Trezor) to Zeal.
